Chinese Salmon Bread Crumble


Fresh salmon fillets marinaded with a homemade bread crumbed Chinese marinade, then grilled. Best served with egg fried rice 

Serves: 1


Prep time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 20 minutes

Grilled Salmon:

1 salmon fillet

1/8 tsp season all to taste

2 tbsp breadcrumbs

Egg wash

1/4 tsp Chinese 5 Spice

1/4 tsp Paprika

drizzle Olive oil 

teriyaki sauce

Note: Ingredient quantities are proportional to one salmon fillet only, so please multiply ingredient quantities if you are cooking more than one salmon fillet 

1. Add the breadcrumbs, Chinese 5 Spice and paprika to a bowl and mix

2. Line a baking tray with foil then lightly grease with oil 

3. Lightly season a salmon fillet with season all

4. Brush egg wash over the salmon

5. Coat with the breadcrumb marinade 

6. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius 

7. Remove from the oven, then create slits along the salmon fillet using a sharp knive

8. Drizzle teriyaki sauce over the salmon 

9. Serve with egg fried rice  (click for recipe)
